Way back home

Nice shot. The shadows of the trees add nice contrast, filling the foreground. Some might be tempted to criticise for the lack of a dramatic sky. Not me. I like my images "al natural". This one also reminds me a little of HCB's 1968 image of "Brie, France", another image of a tree-lined road. But the addition of a human figure makes Luis' photo less solitary, less foreboding. It seems like the woman in question has a long way to go...Let's hope she lives in one of the closest houses.

La composición es muy rítmica. Los árboles de la izquierda marcan una dirección hacia el ángulo sup. izquierdo. El espacio negativo del cielo subraya el punto fugado, y las sombras del camino terminan señalando el ángulo inferior drecho. Es una composición equilibrada, pictórica, me hace pensar en pinceladas que acompañen tanto movimiento. Ritmo y contrastes.
