Amancio's vineyard
Having your own vineyard makes you get into the nature's cycle as they require constant attention, but more interesting is what makes you looking back to your family past, as those Godello grapevines which are being cared by Amancio were rescued by his grandfather after the destructive plague which almost wiped out the variety during the first years of XX century. Later on his father added some fruit trees and built the house over the cave where they make the wine. And now is his turn, as he said.
Amazing how behind this little glass of excellent white wine are hiding the lifelong efforts of many people .

Tener tu viñedo te devuelve a los ciclos de la naturaleza porque requieren cuidados constantes, pero más interesante es que consiga hacerte mirar en el pasado de tu familia. Estas viñas Godello que Amancio está cuidando fueron rescatadas por su abuelo de la plaga de filoxera que casi acabó con la variedad durante los primeros años del siglo XX. Más tarde su padre plantó frutales y construyó la casa sobre la cueva donde se hace el vino. Y ahora es su turno.
Resulta increíble cómo detrás de una copa de excelente vino blanco se esconden los esfuerzos de toda una vida de tanta gente.
